Give Back Hospitality is the give back movement, within TGHC, uniting hosts to use hospitality as a force for good.  Hosting with Heart is what you do to bring purpose into the guest experience.  The Impact Circle is the community that accompanies Hosting with Heart. 

The Global Hospitality Collective (TGHC) began as a group of hosts from around the world sharing their stories of what it means to be truly hospitable. What started as storytelling has grown into a global movement, now including an accreditation academy, podcast, docuseries, give-back initiatives, local meetups, and both in-person and virtual hospitality summits that educate and inspire hosts everywhere.

Give Back Hospitality is a partner initiative of the Global Hospitality Collective. It is all about integrating generosity, purpose, and community impact into the short-term rental experience. It’s more than providing a place to stay, it’s about using hospitality as a platform to support local causes, create meaningful guest experiences, and make a difference together. It’s also a space to explore ideas through the 'Hosting With Heart' impact path and connect with like-minded hosts through the 'Impact Circle community.'

The Hosting With Heart is a simple way for short-term rental hosts to bring more purpose into their business. By choosing and implementing give-back initiatives, like food drives, blessing bags, pop tab collections, or kindness journals, hosts can make a tangible difference for their guests, communities, and the causes they care about.

It’s designed to give you fresh ideas, easy-to-use resources, and a badge to showcase your commitment to purposeful hospitality.  As part of your Hosting with Heart membership, you'll also gain access to The Global Hospitality Collective Community, connecting you with the broader TGHC ecosystem, including the Academy, Local Series events, and pathways to accreditation. 

Investment: $199/year (with $20 going to charity)

The Hosting with Heart Guided Path is a simple, structured option for hosts who want to intentionally give back but don’t need ongoing community access or customization.

In this path, you’ll receive three ready-to-use give-back options to choose from. Each option includes a clear explanation of what it is, step-by-step instructions for implementation, and printable PDFs that you can copy and use at your property. These resources are provided as-is and are not editable.

To receive and display the Hosting with Heart badge, hosts implement two of the three give-back options at their property. This ensures each participating home is taking intentional, tangible steps to enhance the guest experience through giving back, while still allowing flexibility based on what works best for your space and your values.

The Guided Path is designed to be easy, approachable, and actionable, offering a clear starting point for impact without added complexity. It’s ideal for hosts who want guidance and structure, while keeping things simple and self-directed.

Investment: $110/year (with $10 going to charity)

The Impact Circle Community is a dedicated space within Hosting with Heart Membership where purpose-driven hosts connect, share ideas, and inspire one another as we use hospitality to make a difference.

As part of your $199/year membership, you’ll gain access to:

• Hosting with Heart resources, tools, and implementation guides
• The Global Hospitality Collective Community
• Monthly office hours for personalized guidance
• Connection to TGHC Local Series Ambassadors facilitating community impact events

Yes! The $199/year membership includes monthly live office hours where you can ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and learn directly from other hosts. You'll also get access to adaptable templates, messaging examples, and connections to Local Series Ambassadors in your area.

Each year, Hosting with Heart hosts renew their badge by maintaining their financial commitment to Give Back Hospitality, either through an active Hosting with Heart, Hosing with Heart Guided Path, or Already Give Back membership.  Hosts also share a brief snapshot of how their stays have given back, big or small, so we can keep the impact growing and continue celebrating together.

The Heart Stays Network is a community of hosts who open their doors to provide discounted or donated stays for individuals and families in need, often in partnership with organizations like Ronald McDonald House, Dream Foundation, and other charities. Through these compassionate stays, hosts offer rest, comfort, and connection to those facing difficult seasons, creating meaningful impact beyond the booking.
